Healthy habits are those habits which benefit you either physically, mentally or emotionally. They make you feel good and improve the overall well-being. These require you to change your mindset, but then if you practice them, you can benefit in numerous ways.
a) When you eat right as well as when you exercise regularly, you can avoid that excess weight gain. This improves your cardiovascular health as well as it boosts the immune system and it increases the energy levels. You should moderately exercise for 150 minutes in a week, and this can be done by walking, taking the stairs or even pacing rather than sitting.
b) You should eat calorie-controlled diets which will help in controlling weight. Breakfast too should not be skipped as this can raise the sugar levels in the blood and which will increase the storing of fat. There should be at least five servings of vegetables and fruits daily. These are high in nutrients. Sodas should be limited, and lean meats should be preferred over red meats.
c) When you exercise, there are endorphins which are released and that make you feel happy. It boosts your esteem, confidence as well as make you feel better about yourself. It decreases stress levels and improves cognitive functioning.
d) When you practice healthy habits, you prevent conditions like strokes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. This allows controlling, and prevention of depression, diabetes, arthritis, some kinds of cancer and it boosts the metabolic rate.
e) When you eat healthy food and exercise, you have more energy, and you get better sleep as well. This reduces risks of certain health conditions and increases your life expectancy. In fact, those who walked 30 minutes a day reduced premature dying.
Healthy habits are hard to cultivate, but they pay off.

There have been 2 more racial shootings by police of black men. This led to the streets being filled with rioters and tear gas was needed to be fired. The police were showered with debris and bottles while looters had a field day and peaceful protests were tainted by them.
Barack Obama was the first African-American president of the US and due to his election, there were hopes that the racial era would have ended. However, just weeks before a new president could be elected, there were these racial shootings which shocked the world.
Donald Trump accused the movement known as Black Lives Matter for inciting violence against the officers of the law enforcement. He stated that 5 policemen were killed in July in Dallas by a lone gunman amidst mass protests. He felt that it was high time that the American people stop feeling any hostility against the law enforcement officers.
He felt that the Charlotte, NC riots were proof that the Obama regime was on the decline. He felt that this was because there was no unity and that had a lot to do with the leadership as this message needs to come from the top.
Ms. Clinton who is the other Presidential candidate had a different viewpoint. She sought a moral high ground and she appealed to the voters and said not only do Black lives matter but Blue lives matter as well as that all lives matter. She stated that Americans should not discriminate against people based on the color of their skin. She said this after a black man bled to death in front of his girlfriend and child after being shot by the police.
Ms. Clinton spoke very delicately as she did not want to alienate the white voters who think that Black Lives Matter is just a cover up for mayhem and crime.

In a historic decision, Britain voted to leave the European Union. This decision not only completely changed the nation’s place but also it rattled the political environment as well.
David Cameron the Prime Minister who favored Britain staying in the European Union soon after the tally was complete, appeared in front of his residence at 10 Downing Street and said that he planned to step down in October. The reason he gave for stepping down was that he wanted the British to have a leader who would carry out what the British wanted.
As a result of this announcement, the financial markets plummeted and so did the stock prices and the British pound as well.
The ‘leave’ campaign won the votes by 52 percent to 48. There were over 17.4 million people who voted that they should leave the European Union and 16.1 million decided to remain.
David Cameron stated that he would steady the ship so to speak for the next few months but then would step down as he did not feel that this was the way the British people should have voted. The reasons are that the largest trading zone will have to be pulled out from and there would be millions who would be affected due to the labor, goods, capital and services which are now enjoying free movement. In fact, there is a lot of implications even to do with the legal system, and everything from digital privacy to safety of products and the economy will all be affected.
The trading hub which was London due to the euro dominated securities will now perhaps move to Paris and Frankfurt.
Britain is the first country which will leave the block of 28 members, and this will have a huge impact all around. In fact, regulators and central banks already started taking steps to help do damage control.
